Finally! I'm back home in Nashville after being hither, thither, and yon for the better part of seven weeks. A sizeable chunk of this time was spent at the National Guitar Workshop
(think school of rock sleepover in creepy old catholic boarding school). I also was fortunate enough to be asked to judge their 2011 songwriting contest which was a real honor. A number of rather great shows were played throughout the US as well. Most notable among them was a long overdue return to New York City where so many lovely people from past and present showed up to show their generous love and support. I’d also Like to thank Lynn Crystal of WFDU’s Carnival of Song for having me on the program again, she’s a treasure in the world of radio.
I’d also like to thank the boys of Big Hang for resurrecting the Elvis Band....haven’t rocked out that hard since well....maybe ever. My body is actually sore. It was a real pleasure playing with you fellows again.
........onward to whats happening now.................

* back in the studio with John Simpson these next two weeks as we record instrumental versions for Civil Twilight for film and television. And once that is done? The recording won’t stop there: I’m ready to go back in the studio to record my next album.
*I'll be playing shows sporadically while I record, but am planning on a full Winter Tour. More news on that once it shapes up.
* A new music video is in the works for the very near future. I’ll be teaming up with the same brilliant crew who did the “breathe easy” shoot.
